Drawing on a distinguished career that spans military service, senior federal leadership, and private practice, Mr. Khan provides strategic legal counsel, practical solutions, and personalized representation tailored to each client's unique goals.

His unique background as an immigrant, combat veteran, former senior federal executive, and attorney provides clients with a perspective that combines public service, leadership, and practical legal experience.

An immigrant from India, Mr. Khan took the Oath of Allegiance to the United States while serving in the U.S. Army National Guard. He later deployed to Iraq as a Combat Engineer during Operation Iraqi Freedom, participating in more than 100 combat missions in support of coalition operations. His military service earned him the Army Commendation Medal and the Combat Action Badge and instilled the discipline, integrity, and commitment to service that continue to define his legal practice.

Following his military service, Mr. Khan held senior leadership positions within the federal government, serving at both the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Selective Service System. At the Department of Veterans Affairs, he advised on congressional oversight, interagency policy, and veterans' benefits while serving as lead policy coordinator for three White House interagency initiatives focused on naturalization, legal aid, and the successful reintegration of formerly incarcerated veterans.

One of Mr. Khan's most significant accomplishments was leading groundbreaking interagency collaboration between the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense to help identify and protect noncitizen veterans facing deportation after completing their criminal sentences. His work helped ensure that honorable military service was appropriately considered in immigration proceedings involving veterans. In recognition of his leadership and public service, he was awarded the Presidential Medal by the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC).

Mr. Khan later served as Chief of Staff and White House Liaison at the U.S. Selective Service System, where he led agency-wide modernization initiatives, established the Office of Enterprise Integration, and helped the agency earn national recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in the Federal Government. During a leadership transition, he also served as Acting General Counsel, providing executive legal counsel and strategic guidance to senior leadership. He received performance awards in 2023, 2024, and 2025 for his outstanding contributions to the agency.

His commitment to veterans extends well beyond government service. As General Counsel of the American Veterans Committee, Mr. Khan advocated for veterans' interests both domestically and internationally. He represented the organization before the World Veterans Federation and received the World Veterans Federation Medallion for helping organize the first Global Veterans Congress in Paris, France, bringing together delegates from around the world to address issues affecting veterans and their families. Today, he continues his service to the veteran community as Judge Advocate of American Legion Post 453 at Dallas Love Field, where he provides legal guidance in support of the organization's mission to serve veterans, military families, and the local community.
